Tinagba Festival

Iriga City, Camarines Sur
February 11

The Tinagba Festival, which coincides with the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes, showcases the tradition of offering the first harvest to God. Tinagba means “first harvest offering.” The fiesta features a long parade of colorfully decorated carabao-drawn carts carrying newly harvested crops and fruits, and revelers who dance around the city wearing beautifully decorated costumes.
