The fiesta is held in thanksgiving for a yearlong bountiful harvest and in honor of Pulilan’s patron saint, San Isidro Labrador (St. Isidore the Farmer). The main attraction is the parade of carabaos, which are made to kneel down in front of the church while a priest blesses each of them.
