Obando Fertility Rites

Obando, Bulacan
May 17-19

Couples who want to have children join the Obando Fertility Rites. Each day celebrates the feast of one of the town’s patron saints: San Pascual Baylon (St. Paschal) on the 17th, Santa Clara (St. Clare) on the 18th, and Nuestra Señora de Salambao (Our Lady of Salambao) on the 19th. A long procession sings “Santa Clara Pinung-Pino” while performing the fertility dance ritual, followed by images of the patron saints.
